The main way you would eat or drink phosphoric acid would be in soft drinks - primarily colas.
A well-controlled clinical study using calcium-balance methods found no impact of carbonated soft drinks containing phosphoric acid on calcium excretion. The study compared the impact of water, milk, and various soft drinks (two with caffeine and two without; two with phosphoric acid and two with citric acid) on the calcium balance of 20- to 40-year-old women who customarily consumed ~3 or more cups (680 mL) of a carbonated soft drink per day. They found that, relative to water, only milk and the two caffeine-containing soft drinks increased urinary calcium, and that the calcium loss associated with the caffeinated soft drink consumption was about equal to that previously found for caffeine alone. Phosphoric acid without caffeine had no impact on urine calcium, nor did it augment the urinary calcium loss related to caffeine. Because studies have shown that the effect of caffeine is compensated for by reduced calcium losses later in the day. the study concluded that the net effect of Carbonated Beverages-including those with caffeine and phosphoric acid-is negligible, and that the skeletal effects of carbonated soft drink consumption are likely due primarily to milk displacement.
citric acid and / or phosphoric acid weare away teeth then give cavitys
my teacher said that's a bad word
While coca cola is bad, Dr. Pepper gets the vote from many as being the worst soft drink for the stomach, due to its high level of phosphoric acid, which your stomach's protective mucous is not really designed to handle.
No, its not bad for you, but it you afford to drink it everyday, then yes, it can affect your health.
Citric acid is found in soft drinks.
yes all soda is bad for your teeth because many sodas are filled with phosphoric acid and high fructose corn syrup (sugar)
phosphoric
Yes it does but not bad acid that can kill you. --- All soft drinks generally have carbonic acid (carbon dioxide dissolved in water under pressure). Some soft drinks also contain phosphoric acid. These acids may not kill people but may cause serious acidity if taken regularly.
Yes, any type of Lemonade/Pop is bad for you, it contain sugars that can rot your teeth carbonic acid in soda which eats away at your teeth, Sugar, chemicals and phosphoric acid is not a good idea. The carbonation itself is not good as it makes you feel very bloated.
Yes sometimes it is :) but drinking everyday is a very bad habit ! i guess if u are below 15 you should not drink at all because it becomes a bit poisonous for children as they cannot digest it !
Being high is ok, but take the acid first and then get high, not the other way around. Do not drink when you are on acid. Physically it can not do anything but it will mess you up mentally and ensure a bad trip.
no its not bad unless you drink or eat one everyday daily.....so stop or go see a doctor if you get stomache whenever you eat hot sauce...
