Well obviously this answer is just my opinion but i think that if you are a flirty type of person it can be difficult to change your ways, regardless of your relationship status. So my suggestion would be to make sure you know what the intentions and implications of your flirting are. If both the flirt-er and flirtee know it is all in jest and fun i probably shouldn't be a problem, just make sure flirting doesn't turn to leading someone on because that is when problems arise. Also it depends on your partner as well, and if they are a jealous person or someone confident enough to be alright with you flirting with other people.
