Yes, Alcohol can destroy tissue around the wound, which could lead to other serious problems....It is probably best not to apply alcohol to any kind of wound.

If you really must clean it out, I suggest you go to your GP... Or use Saline salution, which can be found in any decent first aid kit or pharmacy. Saline wont kill the tissue in your leg.
