i think both is good cause if a boy is friends with another boy they both have very common things to talk about and are able to tell them things like who they like. But if a boy is friends with a girl they each can experience how the others' gender fells like and sometimes its bad to be with the same gender cause alot of times they might make you do weird and stupid things.

∙ 12y agoI would rather like to hang out with both genders cuz that way u learn a lot more about what boys and what girls do... ex: I f you hang out with girls then u will know what girls do and then when you hang out with a guy you wont know what he'll want to do and that's gonna be negative cuz you both are going to want to do different things... So that's why I recommend hanging out eith both girls and guys :P

Speaking as a girl who has mainly male friends, I feel that I communicate better with guys. I'm not a super feminine girl. I talk sports, cars, politics, basically things that girls don't usually talk about. Some girls get along better with guys, and vice versa. I don't speak for all girls though. Some girls like to keep guys close to weigh out their options. I don't think that's right, but some girls are immoral like that.

Try being friends with any boys that are already friends with her and then you'll know her better (worked for me) This answer is insufficient the legitimate way to befriend a girl is to make friends with her friends, and then get to know her better. If you guys have an amorous relationship then you could ask her out on a date and she probably will acquiesce

i don't think that only gay guy's answer is accepted, so here is my opinion.gay guys tend to understand girls better because girls accept gay guys as their "best girlfriends" and girls without any shame or boundaries expose them selves to them. they can be naked in front of gay guys and feel as if its ok, they also tell them many secretive thoughts and fantasies and so on... girls know that their best pal who is gay, will not have any intentions to sleep with them or take advantage of them, that's why girls feel super comfortable with a male "gay" figure when it comes sharing fantasies and secrets.these gay guys that used to be straight before have now both mentalities; the what used to be "a guy" is now a guy with "girls'" mentality. therefore gay guys can relate to both sexes.a straight guy can relate to both sexes if he hangs out with many girls on daily basis, however i doubt that there will be any girl that would want to share her deepest desires or darkest secrets with any straight guy.makes any sense?
