As someone who has been to both and hated both, I can honestly say that yes, being in a private school helps.
Many private schools really focus towards getting you into your choice university while I found that public schools just push you towards graduation. A private school will cater to your needs more than a public school will, however all this will come at a cost. If you're still unsure you should talk to a guidance counselor (I know this is nerdy, but they can be really helpful!)
The reality is that schools want students that get good grades and are active in their community. Good grades and activities are more important than what school you went to. My daughters attend a public high school, and it is one of the most highly recruited schools in the US. It is because of the classes and required activities. Many colleges are more interested in where you placed in your class then what school or grades you have. In Texas, top 10% of your class will get you accepted in the best schools there. Basically, the colleges are interested in the student more than the school they went to.
Generally, the public college system is cheaper to attend, but the education is good or better than the private. Just because you pay a lot of money doesn't mean the education is better. In many cases you get people teaching in the public college system that have "real world" experience and this carries over into the classroom.
You can get a servcice scholarship by contacting the college you will be attending. Not all schools approve this scholarship.
There are less scholarship opportunities for private schools. Private schools are more expensive and scholarships dont always cover the entire costs of the schools. Since private schools are not fully funded as public schools they will only offer a scholarship to the best and brightest student. If you are that student then you will be way above the others so the answer is yes they do.
if you get better
Hi! There are many ways to get a scholarship for ballet. If you attend a dance studio, many of them have performing groups that attend competitions and many awards are sometimes given out for performing arts. Another way is to go to dance conventions and intensives during the summer for better training and opportunities to gain a scholarship. Hope this helped!
yes private university is better than autonomous university.because the exmas are conducted by their college and they only correct our answer sheet.
yes. And the more who do, the better for everyone.
Most college scholarships target incoming freshmen and undergraduates, so the sooner you start searching for awards and applying for them, the better.
I don't think race will improve your chances of a scholarship over others with better grades and scores. With that, there is a hispanic scholarship fund available strictly for hispanics.
Well that's what is good about college soccer, of course when they offer you a scholarship they think you are good, but they can make you better. just try your hardest and relax :)
To learn more and become better in his area of expertise, that is why everyone goes to college!
yes it is better to go to a private school than a public school. these types of colleges look at who has a better education to give scholarships to because if they give a scholarship to a student they want the student to do good.
