I suppose it's really a matter of what it does for you. I started doing yoga about a year ago, and it's done good things for me... I've been working my way through some injuries from the war, I don't get lower Back pain during the day anymore... I'm something of an advocate of yoga, I guess.

Early morning, one to two hours before sunrise is best time for yoga as preferred by yogis. Bowels must be passed before doing yoga. You may take bath before yoga practice. Be patient, it takes time to set to new routine. Otherwise there is no sacrosanct time for yoga. You can practice yoga anytime of the day. Only precaution is that your stomach must be empty at time of doing yoga. Meals should be taken 3 hours prior to yoga practice, but you can drink water if thirsty. A recommended 3-day routine for beginners could include a mix of cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises. For example, Day 1 could focus on cardio like walking or jogging, Day 2 could involve strength training with bodyweight exercises like squats and push-ups, and Day 3 could include yoga or stretching for flexibility. It's important to start slowly and gradually increase intensity to avoid injury.
Yoga is the best way to relax yourself and keep your mind calm. Also breathing exercises during the day and longer breaks at work will help you cope with anxiety.
The Wii Fit IS "working out." It raises your heart rate and you work up a sweat if you do the aerobics exercises. The Yoga helps you realign your body and promotes good posture and balance. The balance games get you moving and working your muscles in subtle ways. Strength training brings in good old fashioned, muscle-building exercises, no equipment required. As far as it being better than hitting the gym or exercising in front of an aerobics video, I say YES. The interactivity of the Wii engages the user. You can use it in the privacy of your home, or with friends and family in a relaxed setting. Completing exercises awards you points and coins to unlock more exercises, yoga poses, balance games, etc. You can weigh in every day - a great motivator - and it charts your progress. You can also add in activities you have completed outside of the program.
No it is not a sign of heart disease. Yoga teaches you to be calm and listen to your body. You have reached a calmness you usually don't reach during the course of a stressful day so you now more aware of your heartbeat. I've learned to control my heartbeats through stress management by breathing exercises (which is also part of Yoga.)
yoga is better but harder than Pilate's Answer- It is difficult to say that which one is better pilates or yoga. Both are body fitness system but to say that 'which one better' depends upon individual's requirement. Yoga is an exercise system that provides physical fitness along with mental wellness while if you are looking for flat abdomen and strong back then pilates is good for you.
