Yes bearded dragons can get stomach aches due to: Eating meal worms, meal worms have hard exoskeletons with very little meat and can make your bearded dragon constipated, Over feeding, or interacting with your bearded dragon less than 2 hrs after he/she has eaten, you have to allow your pet to bask for at least 2 hrs which allows them to properly digest their meal (also not to get pooped on ;)

Yes, you can place two of the same age together. Be careful though, because if they are different genders they may breed. To tell if it is male or female, gently flip over the bearded dragon and look for bumps just before it's tail. One bump means means female; two means male.

How do you know when a bearded dragon is on its 'winter shutdown'?

"Winter Shutdown" for a Bearded Dragon is called Brumation. You can tell when they go into Brumation by their activities. A Beardie will slow down, sleep more, eat less, just seem tired all the time and sometimes they will even find a place in their tanks to hide. Some Beardies will not even want to be held during this time and won't use the wash room by themselves.

What age do you stop feeding crickets to bearded dragons?

Ok don't listen to that person they don't know much about bearded dragons. I Feed them 3 crickets a day each, sometimes more, sometimes less. As adults they should eat 3 the same except way bigger. As babies, your bearded dragons should be fed a good amount of crickets, but you should try to feed them more vegetables. It is true that the younger your baby bearded dragons are, the more protein from insects they need; but if you do not get them started on greens, they will not want to eat them as much when they get older. You should probably feed them crickets twice or three times a week, and try to feed them vegetables every other day in order to provide them with the right nutrients

How long do bearded dragons shed?

Adult Beardies usually shed once a month. Beardies are constantly growing and unlike humans their skin doesn't grow with them so they need to shed it like a snake. It takes them awhile to shed as their skin comes off in patches unlike a snake that sheds all in one.
