Depends. Day and night are not determined by the northern/sothern hemisphere. Peru in the Southern Hemisphere, and Canada in the northern hemisphere have day at the approximate same time. USA and China are both in the northern hemisphere, but one has day while the other has night.

Yes, everyone living north of the Tropic of Cancer will see the sun in the southern sky at all times of the year and everyone living south of the Tropic of Capricorn will see the sun in the northern sky at all times of the year.


If you live above the Arctic Circle or below the Antarctic Circle you can see the sun in both the northern and southern sky at midnight on the summer solstice.
