No, it is very easy.
1. Get the correct plugs at a parts store. Pick up a sparkplug wrench, a ratchet, and an extension 3/8 drive is a good size for the ratchet and extension.
2. Some parts stores will gap the plugs (set the distance between the electrode and the tab).
Don't be afraid to ask how if they don't offer to do it for you. A plug gapping tool is less than $2.
3. Change the plugs one at a time removing only the wire from the plug you are changing.
Snug the new plug then tweak it by tightening 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Replace the wire making sure it clips onto the plug.
4. Repeat with all 6 plugs.
5. enjoy having a truck that you tuned up yourself!
with a socket, swivel, extension, and ratchet.

It can be complicacated since on some models the spark plugs are difficult to get to but I would recommend to find the spark plugs first and then double check to make sure you know where they are.
