Leaf lettuce does not have a lot of food value, is mostly water. Make sure to feed your guinea pig dark colored leaf lettuce with other types of greens & fruits & veggies, such as spinach, carrots & carrot tops, alfalfa hay, celery tops, pieces of apples, Oranges, broccoli. The guinea pig also needs to be supplemented with vitamin C added to their diet, use the liquid or grind up tablets of Vit C into their food. Most animals naturally manufacture their own Vitamin C with the exception of humans, Guinea Pigs & Rhesus Monkey. It is very important that you add Vitamin C to your Guinea Pig's diet. The key is to feed your guinea pig various types of greens, fruits & vegetables.
a guinea pig should eat a tables spoon of veggies every day and can have lettuce only if its romain.
I pick lettuce as soon as it starts producing around a dozen palm sized leafs. It will continue to grow more leafs all spring and summer, though when the weather gets hot, the plant tends to bolt. When it bolts and goes to seed, I pull up the whole plant, and replant more. Planting lettuce again in August is good, since many lettuce varieties ( red, romaine, endive, grand rapids, etc. ) prefer cooler weather.
leafs rule..wait we aren't living in 1967 anymore I am so sorry. Leafs suck!
A good class pet would be a Guniea pig.

Nutritionally speaking, lettuce really doesn't contain much of anything, so it'be more a case of lettuce not being bad rather than being actually good. But sure, if you were to compare a lettuce to a donut, then the lettuce would be "good" for you.
Eating lettuce is good for health.
lettuce begin (let us begin)
Its impossible for anyone to have a good career with the Leafs right now.

I can't imagine that being a good idea. Their hyper- sensitive to everything.
