using foundation on your skin can be harmless as long as you remember to take it off before going to sleep and cleaning your face regulary if you wear it. If you do not clean your face and remove it then you can end up getting bad spots or worse acne.
Its not recommended because the foundation will mix with the oil in your skin to block your pores and cause more spots. Powder foundations are good to use if you have oily skin, these leave it dry. Your skin can get very dry and start to peel with powder foundations, if you use them every day. Its best to leave your skin to breathe for 1 day a week and use a moisturiser when your not wearing the powder foundation.
No, absolutely not. Mineral foundation is much better for your skin then creme, liquid, or powder. But careful, skin may break out if you use cheap mineral foundation. I would suggest if you are thinking about using mineral foundation, use L'Oreal or Maybelline. Good luck!>>>I would suggest using Physician's Formula instead of L'Oreal or Maybelline^^
Hi there My skin is very sensitive and i use Rimmel London stay matte foundation. But i don't apply it by iteslf i mix in a mostriser into it so it goes onto the skin more smoothly and makes your skin look flawless like its airbrushed. The moistriser i use is simple. Good Luck Make-up freak x
Some bronzers can actually be used for coverage and foundation
Yes it is very good for your skin. It acts as a moisturizer and most act as a replacement for foundation. Some people use certain BB creams as a base then adds foundation but you don't have too. Lots of people say that BB cream helps to also brighten the skin. Unlike foundation that does nothing for you skin, BB cream is actually very healthy for you! I hope this helps!
Drink lots of water, regular sleep, dont smoke, eat healthy and use natural skin care products to prevent toxins from damaging your skin.
Yes Megan Fox does use foundation lots of times she has lots of scars and pimples no more with foundation that covers up ur skin :)
Bare naturals!
I have very sensitive skin, I currently use almay smartshade foundation. It is also important to use cleansers, toners, and lotions that sooth your skin. Aveeno is one of the few brands that doesn't irritate my skin.
Treat your skin gently. Scrubbing too much will cause your sensitive skin to flake and look even worse. My favorite oily skin creme is Body Shop brand tea tree oil mattifying gel moisturizer. It give your skin moisture (yes even oily skin needs moisture) and sucks up the oil. Unlike regular creams, it dries and leaves your skin smooth and not shiny. Then put foundation over it if you want to wear foundation. I highly recommend mineral powder foundation over creme. Use a creme concealer to dab over the dark circles or pimple spots, not all over. The mineral foundation will absorb into your skin and give you a natural glow that creme foundation does not. Oh, I forgot..drink TONS of water. It's hard I know. And yes, you will pee a lot. When I remember to do so, my face clears up always. I suffer from wonderful adult acne so believe me I know.
Oh, there are many factor to what foundation you should pick. First of all is your skintype. If you have oily skin you should probably pick a powder foundation or a liquid foundation with almost a powdery finish. If you have dry skin you should pick a creamy foundation that hydrates the skin. There is also how much coverage you want, what price range etc.
use gentle products that are oil free and mattifying moisturisers and foundation, and always powder your face well. if you use harsh products it will strip the skin, and your skin will produce even more oil to lubricate your skin, so don't treat it badly. use organic things and makeup. garnier pureA is good too, as it is good for spots and blackheads aswell. use blotting tissues/powders.
