no its quite easy, but requires a special socket. Remove wheel, brake caliper from spindle and lockout hub. Now remove snap rings on axle shaft and from hub, then slid internal part of locking hub out. Use either four or six tooth socket (depending on your axle) to remove outer lock nut, then locking ring, and finally inner nut. Hub should slide off stub shaft. Remove rear seal, old bearings and then drive out bearing races with a long punch. Clean, pack new bearings and reasemble in reverse order. A half day job! I bought the socket at NAPA for $21.
