Not too hard, it's behind the wheel well housing, passenger side of the car toward the front of the car.
not hard at all,you will need a spring compressor
You can just change out the tops and will not need to change anything about the suspension. www.myjeepwrangler.com
there are several causes to the air pump. the first and most obvious is the air pump (compressor) itself. if you do not hear the compressor pumping air or if you do not feel the slight vibration of the compressor when you put your car into drive, then it's probably the compressor that has gone bad. if the compressor is coming on and you do not hear any air leaking, then your problem could be the height adjuster, located on the suspension bags themselves. Bronconvict: another possibility includes the compressor relay switch. This switch controlls the power to the air bag suspension compressor. This switch is known for burning out when the suspension compressor is working too hard. This can also be caused by a bad/corroded GEM module (due to notorious winshield leak). i had to replace "height sensor" on driver side . part was $200.
No it's like changing an alternator but you will have to recharge when done.
What causes the compressor to gail is a slow leak in the rear air springs. Rubber just naturally dries out. As a result the air compressor has been working itself to hard. You need to replace your air springs. You can get excellent air springs for your car made with Good Year rubber
Relatively easy for an experienced mechanic, consult the manual for specific instructions.
Probably braking hard.
Place rings into their respective positions on the piston. Place ring compressor over rings and tighten up until you can only just move the piston inside the compressor. Place the top of the piston into the bottom of the cylinder, push the piston and rings up out out of the compressor and into the cylinder keeping the compressor hard against the base of the cylinder. If you do not hold the compressor hard against cylinder the rings will slip out and you start again, you are not allowed to throw the compressor at your garage door until the third time. You should try it without a compressor, or have you?.
The hard part is finding it. It is located behind the right front wheel well shroud. Remove the shroud, and it is readily accessable.
Controling the struts electronically is only possible when using the factory ECS struts manufactured by KYB.When operating properly the ECS module performs as listed belowSport mode - suspension is set at Hard. The damping force can be checked by simply bouncing the mounting pointsin both modes and checking that the damping force is harder in the Sport state.Tour mode - activates the followingAnti-Roll: If the steering wheel is rotated 90 degrees within 0.3 seconds then the suspension is set at Medium. If this change occurs within 0.2 seconds then it is set at Hard.Anti-Dive: When the speed of the car drops quickly during braking the suspension sets itself to Hard.Anti-Squat: The suspension will harden at low speeds when accelerating quickly. During hard acceleration at 30km/h the suspension is set at Hard, at 60km/h it is set at Medium, at 90km/h it is set at Soft. At all speeds suspension will change to Medium after a second of acceleration.High Speed Sensitive: When accelerating the suspension will change from Soft to Medium at 130km/h and will revert back to soft when the speed drops below 120km/h.Pitch and Bounce: If the vehicle's body bounces up and down by approx 5cm within a second then the suspension is set at Hard until this motion ceases.
It is in the block on the passengers side behind the A/C compressor. hard to see and get to but it can be done with out removing the compressor.
The A/C compressor is located on the bottom of the passenger sidde fornt of the engine. Very hard to see. Below the alternator. ------------------------------
