Oklahoma Baptist University has a pre-med program that 90% of the students get accepted into med school
Most four year universities and colleges will have some sort of pre med program. The pre med program is not a major, but advising to help you decide that medical school is the right decision for you and then help you get in and meet the requirements for medical school. Of you want to find a good premed program then look at the percentage of kids that applied to med school and got in.
No, it's more like a school of health related professions.
FAMU doesn't have a medical school but they have the pre-med program.
You should find a different school.
There is no appropriate answer to this question because it is not a question. I cannot this of anything more to add since there was nothing asked and this is just silly!
Pre-med students are those who wish to pursue a career - typically - as a physician. No- in fact, they don't typically accept UVa undergrads into their med-school other than the top, top, top students. They want more variety. If you want to go to UVa for med school, go somewhere else with a good premed program.
After medical school you would need to complete an accredited residency program in pediatrics.
The real disadvantage to a Vet med career, is that it is harder to get into a vet med school compared to human medicine, you have to do the same training as human med doctors and you won't earn nearly as much as a human doctor. (also the late night emergenies!)
That will depend on the school. Some will allow you to transfer between schools. Others might require you to simply reapply.
Although the University of Pennsylvania does not technically have a pre-med program, they have a great reputation for having their students enter med school. Penn has an awesome med-school too & it's an ivy league. This would be my first recommendation. Some other options, Penn State & University of Pittsburgh. Hope this helps!
