It's okay to let your dog eat grass, but not all the time. You see, grass makes a dog's stomach feel better, but if you let your dog eat alot of grass, it will cause him/her to poop and/or throw up.
Dogs eat grass, but it is not suggested that you allow them to do so. Why do the cuddly canines we love and adore do this? Well, they do it for multiple reasons. It can be after eating, because grass settles their stomach. It can also make them throw up, like when you give them some medication that they don't really like or want but need. But because they don't want it, they find a way to throw it up - and the easiest way to do so is by eating grass. Some dogs just chew on it for the pure joy, or because they have nothing or no one to play with. Again, it is not at all recommended, because if the grass they chew or eat is unsanitary - which most of it is not - the canine could easily get worms or some other bad sickness, illness, disease, or something else. It is understood that you cannot be watching your dog every single minute of every single day while he or she is outside, but do please try your best to keep an eye an him or her as much as possible, for the safety of you and your beloved family member, Fido. :)
Yes, if dogs eat grass they can barf, die, or choke.
It matters what type of grass...or how much grass.
My dog ate regular grass before.
It made her bark when she was sleeping... :3
So don't let your dog eat grass... mostly if it's plastic.

Enjoy doggies eating grass ^^ (Really DON'T let them eat grass.)
It's OK if he only eats some but if he is grazing like a horse, call a vet. Because dogs and wolfs eat grass after a big meal to help it digest or help an upset stomach. If he eats way to much it is probably because his stomach hurts.
Another answer:Specifically, eating grass makes dogs throw up, which usually relieves their minor stomach upsets. If they only do it occasionally and they're fine after they vomit, it's just their way of getting relief, and you should allow them to do it. But if they eat grass all the time, something's off with their diet or digestion, and the vet needs to take a look at them.It is good for a dog to eat grass because it helps their stomach!
As long as there are no chemicals on the grass it is okay. Grass in small amounts can help with digestion. If a dog is feeling bad, he may eat grass so that he can throw up and feel better.
