Is it illegal to cut trees that are very old in someones gardens the peopleat the bottom of my garden are cutting trees down that are over 100 foot and very old can i stop them?

Some trees are covered by Tree Preservation Orders (the name may vary from country to country) It is illegal to fell or prune trees in an area so covered without permission. If the trees are not covered and in and in your neighbours' garden then there is nothing you can do.

Check with your local authority or local council. They may have local laws about this.
