If your question is: 'is it illegal to disable your OWN anti theft system'; my guess would be no, not illegal. Since you own the property, you are legally allowed to disable, dismantle, dismember, disguise it, disarm it, disgust it, dissolve it, despise it, disown it, dispose it, disease it, discount it, discourt it, distrust it, disdain it, dismount it. Discuss the many more ways you could screw it up while discreetly disco dancing in the distance, disheveled, disillusioned, discombobulated and discontinued. Point is, no matter what piece of property your thinking about doing WHATEVER to, as long as u own it entirely and in doing so doesn't break any other laws or infringe on anyone else's rights, THEN GO FOR IT!
