Pet stores and even pet shelters etc are allowed to house them but can't sell out adopt out to people who reside in CA. they are illegal in some NY cities and some WA cities too! It's not fair because ferrets are the thrd most popular pet and nothing is wrong with them. There are petitions and everything going around so hopefully the ban can get pulled. It's not fair to the ferret lovers that live there and have to either hide or get rid of their ferrets. Its sad.
