No but it is not something I would recommend. If you fly off the handle threatening to sue a person it could possibly look bad to the judge. Consult with an attorney/lawyer to see if you have a case first. They will help you with the legal proceedings from there.
To threaten someone is more or less the same as killing them in person. I am actually a lawyer in real life and work specifically on criminal cases (we get these types quite a lot). The maximum punishment you can recieve (if the other person has reported you) is roughly 2-3 years, the least amount of time you'll do is probably about 25 years to life. So Don't worry.
Threatening behaviour (provided no weapons was used during the offence) could lead to a police warning, or being summoned to court. The magistrate is more likely to fine you and bound you over to keep the peace in future. A lot depends on the severity of the behaviour, and whether actual contact was made.
Yes, unless you are actually acting in direct self defence (ie they are moving to hit you).
no i don't think so, any from of threat like to kill someone is illegal
Based on the bare facts given in the question, no, it doesn't sound like it would be.
Depending on where you live, that would be illegal, so dont torture it.
If you mean torture devices, they are devices to torture people, but of course, they are illegal today.
Homework on a subject you enjoy can be pleasant; homework on a subject you find too difficult can be torture. Since he discovered he was allergic to chocolate, watching someone eating chocolate cake is torture for him. The pain she experienced from her injury was torture until the paramedics gave her quick pain relief. Torture as a means of interrogating people is illegal in most civilized countries.
You can't, but the police can. It's called blackmail and is illegal.
That depends on the reason for the threat. If your supervisor threatens to fire you because you're not doing your job effectively, there's nothing illegal about that, but if they threaten to fire you in order to intimidate you into doing something illegal, for example, then the supervisor has committed a crime.
Torture is not generally a part of Voodoo.
Yes, if someone asks for money in exchange for not reporting you to the IRS or your employer, it could be considered blackmail. Blackmail is when someone threatens to reveal information about you unless you meet their demands. It is illegal and should be reported to the authorities.
yes. punishable by eunichism, and 1 month mandatory probation
You should report this threat to the police.
Umm ya it is in the US. I don't know were else though.
