In the state of Missouri, it is unlawful to perform any tattoo, body piercing, or any other type of body modification to any person under the age of 18 without proper parental consent. You will have to wait to at least 17 in this state without proper consent, but even at this age, most shops will turn you down.

∙ 17y agoI'm 15 and live in Missouri. I know a few kids at my school who are my age who have tattoos. But they probably had to have parents permition, just the same with getting your belly button pierced.
