Well, first off, minors can't sue, you must be at least 18 years old.
if you are over 18 years old, you can sue without your parents agreement.
if you are under, you can not sue but if your parents agree with you wanting to sue, then your parent can sue for you.
A minor may be able to sue even if his/her parents disagree as long as the court appoints a guardian ad litem for the minor to bring the lawsuit. The sole authority the guardian ad litem has is to act on behalf of the minor in that particular litigation.
No legal injunction is required. Until they reach the age of 18, they remain the responsibility of the parents.
I don't think it's illegal, but it's a bad idea. Just because it's not criminal doesn't prevent suing for any problems it creates.
Suing, or the act of bringing a legal claim against someone, has evolved over centuries through the development of legal systems. The concept of suing can be traced back to ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia and Ancient Greece, where formalized legal procedures and courts were established to resolve disputes. It is not attributed to a single individual but rather a gradual development in legal history.
the first step in suing for medical neglegence is to determine if the patient was actual neglected followed by seeking legal council.
If your boyfriend is a minor he is within the jurisdiction of his parents and therefore they can keep him from interacting with his biological child. There are legal recourses in such matters even though the courts are reluctant to interfere in that type of family matters.
This is part of a legal case where the party that is suing assigns his case to anoher party.
Yes, it is possible to sue a minor in civil court, but the process can be more complex than suing an adult. The minor may require a legal guardian or parent to represent them in court.
No. That is not legal. (I don't think it is) You might want to contact a lawyer.
Yes they can, indirectly, such as in a case of wrongful death where the deceased parents killed others by the same actions which resulted in their own deaths. In other words, the accident or incident that killed the parents also killed a child or other person, and there is reason to think that the parents committed an act of negligence that resulted in the death of others. However, you would not be suing the parents, but making a claim against their insurance. But if the insurance refuses to pay, then you would sue the insurance company. Anyway, the children would not be suing the parents, but their parents' insurance or their parents' estate.
If your parents are not your biological parents and have adopted you and made themselves your legal guardians then they would have to have adoption papers or it wouldn't be legal.
You may not know this, but legal costs insurance should and will cover much, if not all, of the expenses involved with hiring a lawyer and dealing with suing a company. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_expenses_insurance
Your parents have no legal obligation to give you pocket money.
