From what I read as long as you're not a convicted felon I'm almost possitive even though I'm 16 I've been shot and I want to be safe and as long as you are not wearing it during a crime Am doing research I to want to own one and I do live in Pensylvainia so I'm checking because I was charged once with two charges but my files will be gone soon my uncle is a cop in philadelphia and I will as him just do research bc it's not worth getting in trouble for its a pain having a record I hope this helped you have a good one! it would increase sucess in gun crime. like robbing a bank.

Wearing a bullet proof (resistant, not bullet proof) to commit a crime anywhere in the US immediately makes it a felony. Even if the crime is a misdemeanors, it automatically becomes a felony. It is a huge deterrent since felony brings longer prison terms. Therefore I doubt it will "increase" gun crime.
