I have read a statement made on line by a defense attorney with 30+ years that in CA "length is irrelevant. Fixed blade knives are 'dirks or daggers' and there for can not be carried concealed. A knife worn OPENLY suspended from the waist in a sheath is no concealed" Again this is what I've read and there for is technically hear say.
What is the legal length of a knife can you carry in the state of Oklahoma? What is the legal length of a knife can you carry in the state of Oklahoma?
legal to own one but illegal to carry
No it is not.
pretty much any blade is legal as long as its not switch blades or has an automatic release
a 7 inch blade
4" cutting edge
In the UK, it is legal to carry a knife with a folding blade of up to three inches or less in public. This does not include knives with mechanisms that allow the blade to 'lock' into place. Larger blades can be lawfully carried in public provided they are not 'banned blades' and the person carrying them must have a valid reason.
Only if you are in the Military can you carry ANY type of switchblade. Now, "spring assisted" you can carry (its a "switchblade" if you can push a button on the handle to automatically release the blade).
They were when I was growing up there. I suspect that they still are.
Yes it is elegal to carry switch blade butterfly and automatic knives any where in the usa . you could do it any way though but you should get a different knife.
This is state or local law. It cannot be answered without more information.
They sure are! They come in a couple of variants but the classic KA-Bar is widely available and legal in all 50 states to the best of my knowledge.
