Is it legal to shoot Kookaburras in Western Australia?
No. It is not legal to shoot kookaburras anywhere in Australia, except in Tasmania. Kookaburras are native birds, and protected by law.
Desert Eagles are legal here in Australia, but only up to.44 Magnum. The ever popular .50AE is not legal for general population usage, eventhough there are a couple of "Come and try shooting" Ranges that do have them to shoot. In any event, you need to be H Catagory licenced, and have your club approve you for a class C Firearm (>.38 but less than .45)
