Central controls allow water and space heating to be controlled independently. Areas of the home may also be broken down into zones to provide heat only where you want it. By heating only the parts of your home where you need heat allows you to save on your heating bill.

How are hot water heating systems classified?

What is the difference between a combi boiler and a multipoint heater?

Instantanoous multipoint water heaters : These provide hot water to multiple taps or appliances at the same time. when the hot tap is turned on, a powerful gas burner in the heater ignites. The incoming cold water is heated as it flows through a large heat exchanger located above the gas burner. The heat ecchanger heats up a large volume of water very rapidly. They do not supply hot water to a cental heating system. Combination boiler : These provide hot water to the central heating system and instantanious hot water to the tap. when the hot water tap is turned on all the heat is diverted to the heat exchanger to give a rapid responce. hope this is of some use. austin mod 6

When is central heating power flushing necessary?

Central Heating Power Flushing can be necessary if there is a large build of of substances within the central heating pipes, the boiler, or the radiators. These substances can cause build of of pressure within the boiler to dangerously high levels, as well as preventing hot water from flowing properly through pipes.

Which type of central heating system is used when heating many buildings from a central location?

Central heating will not heat up?

You need to troubleshoot the system, is the thermostat turned up, are the radiators turned on, is the boiler on and working, if all the obvious are in order then you may have a faulty water pump or blockage (solid or air) in the system.

How is the central heating model not like an electric circuit?

How is the central heating model not like an electric circuit?

Why does a blue powder turned to white and lost mass upon heating?

Because of the loss of the water of hydration.

Are there any ways in which the central heating system model does not represent an electric circuit?

Because a central heating model does not have any electrons travelling through wires but have water. If a wire broke in a electric circuit , then if you're not going to turn off the circuit you would get electrecuted. In a central heating system, if it would break water will leak and nothing will hurt you or anything and you won't get electrecuted.

Why are the radiators warm but water is cold in a central heating system?

Central heating systems usually heat on a different system from the hot water heater, unless the main heater is a combination furnace/hot water heater. If this is the case, it could be because the outflow of hot water is greater than the ability of the furnace to heat the water.
