No, not on you'r home computer. There are exceptions, however. Some of these examples include: Illigal softwares, a high amount of porn, nosy parents and/or siblings, it protects from some viruses, protection from hackers, and etc. I would highly recommend putting one on your work computer so you don't lose valuable data.
