Yes, it's normal. Imagine if you got drunk and slept with some disgusting guy by mistake? You probably wouldn't want to talk to him the next day because you'd feel slimy. That's how this man feels. He was scratching an itch, and now you are just a reminder of his ill-advised mistake.

Unless he got caught cheating, he might very well be suffering from a guilty conscience. By avoiding you, he's removing any temptation to repeat his mistake. If he did get caught... all the more reason to avoid you, especially if he regrets cheating and wants to make things right with his wife.
