Yes, it is very common for a teen to miss her period more than once, common for everyone.
In your teens your menstrual cycles can be very irregular because it takes time for your body to reach a point where it is mature enough to ovulate on a regular basis, also while you're developing your hormones will be irregular so cause irregular cycles too. If you miss more than three periods in a row it's a good idea to talk to your doctor just to make sure there's nothing wrong.
