Is it normal not to hang out with friends every day in college?

Assuming that you're also attending your classes, hanging out with friends everyday at college is normal for some but if you're not doing more than that, you're not getting your money's worth from the college experience. Attending class and doing course work plus hanging out with friends equals a two dimensional world. I'm sure you can expand your horizons and find some new and interesting things to do that you can tell your friends about when you are hanging out.

Depending on whether you have a job and a full load of classes, you may not have much time to visit with people. You should also try for internships in your field to aid in gaining experience for work after college.
