Yes - it is normal. Unfortunately this early on in the pregnancy your body is still adjusting and possibly will not carry on with the pregnancy. Many women experience light cramping and spotting and still go on to a successful pregnancy. Many women will also have a miscarriage and not even know it because they think it is a late and heavy period. All I can say is stay calm, don't exhaust yourself (heavy exercise or such) and wait and see what happens. Around 6 weeks pregnant (which is four weeks after conception) you will experience a surge of pregnancy hormones. This usually brings on morning sickness. Your body will hopefully stabilise then. It is just a matter of waiting. Good luck.

Depending on your age, you could be experiencing menopause or you could be pregnant, but you should already notice if you're pregnant. Consult a doctor if none of these are the case.
Your baby is growing. It's pressing on other organs in your body. It's normal.
A friend of mine had a similar thing, she thought it was normal which it usually is, but found out she had Placenta Previa (I think that's what its called). Definitely get it checked out.
Yes it is very normal
Yes, it is normal. What you are experiencing may be Braxton-Hicks contractions. These contractions are "practice" for the real thing. If you are experiencing period-like cramping, you should call your doctor. If those cramps become regular (time them) or if your water breaks, go to the hospital.
Abdominal discomfort is common during the first trimester. While it may be harmless, it can also be a sign of a more serious problem. Severe or persistent abdominal pain shouldn't be ignored. See related link below.
