You should only have one every 28 days or so, though it is not uncommon for women to have menstrual irregularity for the first few years after menarche and for the first few years before menopause. If you are not within these two groups, and you have begun having periods twice per month, you need to contact a doctor to get it properly checked out.
Many women have a different variation of the 'normal' 28 day cycle. This doesn't necessarily mean there is a problem, especially if whatever your cycle is has always been the same (as in 'regular'). Now if there are other symptoms occurring or extreme PMS-related symptoms, that may be an indication of an issue.
With that said, it's always a good idea to consult your doctor so that he or she can evaluate your needs and what is 'normal' for you.
If you stop bleeding for 24 hours, this is not normal. A variation of light to heavy flow in a day or over several days is normal.
Is it normal to start your period and stop the same day
Is there a chance you are pregnant? if so, you could be having a miscarriage and you are spotting because of that...
yes your body isnt regulated yet
yes it is!!
just your hormones, this is normal
Yeah - it's pretty normal but if it never stops before the next period starts you may want to discuss it with a doctor.
Normal
Your actual period should last no longer than 6-7 days. (a week). During this time it can start, stop, be heavy, light...etc.
No. It stops when it stops.
Your period stops for a couple days and then continues so i would be ready at any moment. That is normal for it to stop
Yes they can be. Mine does that sometimes too. It's there 1 day, stops & comes back later on. It's normal:)
Yes, you can start a normal menstrual period in the middle of a Provera prescription. Depending on your particular body and cycle, you can start your period at any point in the prescription. As your body adjusts to the medication, the flow will become lighter and often stops completely.
During pregnancy, the period stops.
If your period wasn't due & you're on birth control, then this is break through bleeding. Birth control stops you from ovulating. If you're currently on the 7day break or sugar pills then this is normal.
no
Yes. Some birth control methods stops a women from getting a period for up to 15-18 months at times. Especially if you are using the Depo-provera birth control shot.
