I have the depo shot given in the muscle at the top of my buttock and it can be painful in the area of the injection site, sometimes for 24 hours but it doesn't hurt anywhere in my leg. Hope that helps.
It may take awhile for your period to return to normal, often times only light after first or it may return to normal right away, depending on how fast your body cleanses itself of the hormones. How long you are on the shot doesn't affect this.
By not getting the ejection
Bare in mind that the Depo stops your menstrual cycle for several months - you may experience irregular bleeding while on the Depo. Once you come off Depo it takes time for your hormones to regulate again to have a normal menstrual cycle, during this time menstruation can be heavier than normal due to hormonal imbalance.
After your last Depo-Provera shot, it will take roughly three months to have your first period. As soon as you resume having your periods, ovulation should return to normal as well.
Depo-Provera is very effective birth control method, chances of getting pregnant while using Depo is very, very small. Geritol is a brand of vitamins that will not effect your chances of getting pregnant.
It is highly unlikely to get pregnant on the depo provera. And if you are worried because you have not had a period in two months that is normal for the depo shot. It is made to stop your period
yes
I read that it takes 10 months to get pregnant after getting off of the depo shot.
I have no idea what depo is, but anything that makes you have your period for that long can't be good for you. Maybe consult a doctor
i fell pregnant eleven months after my last injection of depo and had not yet had a period(since last injection) so was not using any protection so be aware unless you wish to have a child doctor told me upto to twelve months before normal cycle would return
There are no special risks in getting pregnant after stopping depo provera. There is no need to wait to conceive.
If you induce vaginal bleeding after having Depo-related amenorrhea, you bleed from your vagina. It does not "jump start" your normal period, it doesn't mean you ovulated, and it doesn't get Depo out of your system faster.
