I'm not sure. I was on the shot myself (having taken it just once) for three months. I got the shot in November, and never got a second one. I had a few days of very faint spotting, and FELT like I was going to get my period two months after my second shot would have been due. One month after, I got what seemed like a normal, if not light period. Had a week following that of no bleeding at all. Now one week later, I am experiencing very heavy bleeding. If anyone else has experienced this, and it is normal for Depo discontinuation, I would love to hear about it. If anyone has experienced this and sought medical care and it is something to worry about, that would be helpful also.
Absolutley not!! Whether you are spotting or heavily bleeding, 12 weeks ia entirely to long. Go to your doctor and as soon as possible. I have been using depo for two years and I never bleed for more than a week and a half. Your doctor could easliy tell you whether or not your body is rejecting the shot or give you a decent explaination of why you have been bleeding so long. Not to worry though, just make a doctor's appointment asap.
I have has my period for longer than normal while on the shot. I udally just spot but it lasts for up to 2 wks at a time.
Yes, I know many people that do however overtime it supposively gets shorter and or disappears and it can also get as long as 1 to 1.5 months long
Yes, it is relatively normal to have your period for more than 10 days after stopping the Depo Provera shot. Irregular bleeding is common and it should not last more than a couple of weeks.
Yes. As noted in the patient package insert you got at the time of your injection, irregular bleeding is a common side effect of Depo Provera.
Yes
I have no idea what depo is, but anything that makes you have your period for that long can't be good for you. Maybe consult a doctor
it is normal because i had that happen to me a couple of times while i was on the shot so its normal to have one
Can a woman get her firs depo shot 6 days after her period?
Hi. Yes it is possible. Have been on depo twice and both times no period - going on six years this round.
yes it is. I've been on it for 2 months now and my period is basically like 3 days
It is highly unlikely to get pregnant on the depo provera. And if you are worried because you have not had a period in two months that is normal for the depo shot. It is made to stop your period
Yes, you can get depo provera on the fifth day of your period. If you start within the first seven days of your period, Depo Provera is immediately effective.
If you are not on your period when you get the depo shot nothing will happen but you will have to use condoms for seven days after you get the shot to help prevent pregnancy ....depo provera only works immediately when you are on your period
For the most part you will not get your period while you are still receiving the depo shot that is the part that is good, you will however spot from time to time For the most part you will not get your period while you are still receiving the depo shot that is the part that is good, you will however spot from time to time
Not usually. Most women do not experience periods while on Depo.
If you induce vaginal bleeding after having Depo-related amenorrhea, you bleed from your vagina. It does not "jump start" your normal period, it doesn't mean you ovulated, and it doesn't get Depo out of your system faster.
the chicken can fall ot then collect it?
