Is it normal to hear and feel you joints creak with no pain at the age of 21?

Well I'm 13 and my joints still creak and it doesn't hurt even if it does eventually cause Arthritis my dad says that his creak as well he can feel no pain. I find that if you force your body to creak or crack it will hurt more than when say you getting out of bed or of the sofa.
