Is it normal to only have 2 3 periods a year when your not taking birth control and want to get pregnant I am also 24 yrs old and have a 6 yrs old son?

this is not normal and you should see your doctor. many conditions can cause this the most common one is polycystic ovary disease also thyroid disease and pituitary adenomas can cause these symptoms

it depends on your body, i stopped taking b.c. after taking it for 3 years and my periods were more normal than they were on b.c. but i forgot to take it sometimes. i don't like b.c. because it makes me gain weight.
