Why do Shih Tzus get bumps all over their body?
I have a Shih Tzu too and she gets "bumps" all over her. Those bumps are toomers. It is ok though because she/he wont die from it so don't worry.
Is it ok to breed her nine month old shih tzu?
its better to wait until they are fully grown as they are small dogs, but at 9 months it would be nice to remember they still have 3 months left of being a puppy.

Hello! I have two shih tzus and they both love a bit of whatever i am eating: chicken, mashed potato, vegetables etc. BUT only in small quantities and moderation! Remember some foods are poisonous to dogs such as chocolate, grapes. It is ok for dogs to eat human foods every now and again :) xx

It depends on where you want your dog to sleep. Any dog can be trained to sleep in a crate or dog bed. From experience: dogs want to be close to their owner(s); it has worked well for me to set up a crate or dogbed in my bedroom.

So some shih tzu facts are...well first of all I have a shih tzu. First of all they should weigh 9-16 pounds,but my dog is 20 pounds but my veterinarian says it ok to be 20 pounds.Now my dog eats 3-4 times a day.He also needs to use the restroom every 2-3 hours if you have to work or something and you are to busy than just train your dog to use the restroom on a puppy training pad.Also if you stuck in a horrible blizzard and can't let your dog out to use the restroom then just buy poop- bags i know gross but you really need them so your dog can feel good after it disposes of it's waste,or just use a regular plastic bag butthe poopbags are 100% recyclable which helps the planet!!!Also use K-9 plus 1-2 day(s)after your dog takes a bath for those fiesty ticks,fleas,etc.So there you are with your shih tzu facts thanks=]!!!

yes, but i would not do it myself. take it to a groomer.

It would definitely be advisable to contact a veterinarian. While I wouldn't be concerned if it only happened once, repeated instances, especially over a short period of time, could be a sign of something serious. Use your best judgment. How do you train a shih tzu?
Honestly, it's not the most simple dog to take care of it, but all dogs take work. I feed my Shih-Tzus once a day, always have water, and just simply let them out to use the batheroom. Make sure you brush their coat about once a day, depending how long the fur is. But, you have to get them a haircut about 2-3 months, depending on how long you want it and how much you take care of it. They are a very good natured breed, and good for families with young children, eldery, and everyone inbetween. I would recommend this breed to anyone. I love my Shih-Tzus! <3
