Yes its ok. But make sure that they don't spread it around so that your parents don't hear it through gossip. Its up to you to tell your parents whenever you feel ready. Remember that its up to you and no one can change how you feel. If you think your parents will be ok with the news just come out with it. Your parents won't like you any less for telling your best friend before them. They should be pleased you trust your friend enough to tell them.
