In general, dogs are carnivorous animals who like to eat meat, and wieners are made of meat. They are a bit too highly seasoned to be ideal for dogs, and I would hardly want to feed dogs on wieners as a main dietary component, but in small quantities wieners will do them no harm.

∙ 12y agoWheat is safe, but it is not ideal. Dogs don't really need wheat or other grains in their diet. Some dogs have trouble digesting such foods, which causes excessive gas and loose stools.
