Budgies are as smart as a 3 or 5 year old person.
Yes they do! In fact I have 3 budgies of my own.
You will need a large cage or, aviary, at least 6 birds 3 males 3 females, you will need to supply a abundant supply of greens, and keep the temperature at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, no lower. Put plenty of vitamins in the water, and provide nesting boxes.Keep the cage (or aviary) clean, and replace food and water frequently. Provide a bath, and spray the cage, (love birds don't drink water directly from a pool, they normally lick it off of leaves) Also provide pleanty of fruit, (NEVER give them citrus or cabbage)
2-3 tsps per budgie
About 3-4 .
Feather mites are very common between the barbs of the primary flight and tail feathers of pet and aviary budgies in Australia. Feather mites are most easily seen with the naked eye by transilluminating the feathers. Feather mites are not blood sucking mites. Feather mites are similar in some ways to house dust mites. I suspect these feather mites can spread some infections such as PBFD but don't know if this has been proven. Feather mites in budgies are usually easily eradicated with 3-4 treatments as shown below at 2-4 week intervals of each bird in the aviary.
Any dog if you get it young enough you can get it used to them like ive got 3 dogs and 3 cats they are fine with my chooks and budgies and our chooks are free ranged and out all the time
Yes. I have a white budgie, and it eats banana alot. =] added: It's alright but shouldn't be all they eat. i have 3 budgies and all 3 have had no issues with eating bananas. I feed them a variety of foods so they get all the nutrients they need.
Around twice a week.
