The decision whether or not to drink it is yours.
About the dents - as long as the hermetic seals have not been damaged or compromised or the metal plate has not been cut, the contents will probably not be affected. Regarding being out-of-date, shelf stable foods don't generally drop dead on the recommended best-by date. There will be a degradation of quality and nutrition, but should be microbiologically safe. The older it is, the more changes will be noticeable.
