Yes it is possibke. I am a living example. My blood group is B+ and my genotype is AA.
is A positive blood group and AA blood group the same
they can have all blood groups but BB (pure B group) , AA (pure A group) or AB.
Yes an AA mother can marry an AA father, when they give birth, it wil result to an AA children
Blood typePossible genotypesAAA AOBBB BOBlood typePossible genotypesABABOOO
The Basic Blood Group genotypes would be: AA AO AB BB BO OO Blood type A--AA AO Blood type B--BB BO Blood type AB--AB Blood type O--OO
Blood group A phenotype can be as a result of AA or AO. Going by Mendelian rules of inherittance, Group A father can be AA or AO and, Group A mother can be AA or AO. IF parents are AA & AA then all children will be AA = Group A only. IF one parent is AA & the other AO, then the children can be AA,AO,AA,AO = Group A only phenotypically. IF both are AO & AO, then the kids can be AA,AO,OA (all = Group A) and OO = Group O. So depending upon if the parents are AA or AO, the children can only be Group A or Group O (when both parents are AO).
We are looking for the possible blood types of a baby.Parental information:Mother type A -- can be AA or AO = contributes A or O geneFather type A -- can be AA or AO = contributes A or O geneBaby receives one gene from each parent: Baby is type AA = Type ABaby is type AO = Type ABaby is type OO = Type OSince neither parent can contribute the B gene, it is impossible for this pairing to produce an AB child.
AO or AA
Parentsblood types: A and Bgenotypes: IAi and IBiChildrenblood types: A, B, O, and ABgenotypes: IAi, IBi, Ii, and IAIB(capital A's and B's are superscript)
If the first person is AA, then the possible resulting genotypes are AA or AB. If the first person is AO, then the possible resulting genotypes are AA, AB or BO.
