10 lbs/month, that's 2.5 lbs/week. just borderline for a healthy loss rate at an almost normal diet.

If you really are overweight, and have just started dieting, you can probably get away with this first. But as your weight comes closer to your target weight, expect weight loss to become more difficult.

The guide is 2 pound a week. Eat 700-800 calories less a day or eat 400 less calories a day and do 1 hour walking a day.

I have lost 2 pound a day while training in the military, however I would not advice losing

that much.

I think no because... yes you do need to eat right but everything still have calories so you have to loose a little bit not gain just a little bit.
