It completely depends on the type of defect;if it is X recessive or if it is not X recessive at all.
For example:
Consider two healthy sisters;one of them with chromosomal defect that doesn't show it:
Aa&AA and the father Aa:
Aa*Aa:1/2 Aa,1/4 aa,1/4AA
AA*Aa:1/2AA,1/2Aa
As we see the first sister may have a defective child but the second one may never have a defective child.
