If two blonde haired people have a child the child will be blonde as everybody has two hair genes (one from each parent) and you pass one of your genes to your child, to be blonde you have to have two blonde haired genes and as you can only pass blonde genes to your child they will certainly be blonde.

Source(s):GCSE science lessons Hi I am sorry to rain on your party but i believe you are incorrect. The reason why is because you can carry a trait but if you are an owner of trait then you have that trait plus others. For example my aunt has blonde hair and her hubby has blonde hair that went to dirty blonde to brown naturally. However, they have a red-head. How is this possible? Doesn't heredity have rules? I am so confussed.

If a child has blond hair and both of her parents have brown hair what does that tell you about the allele for blond hair?

Both of the parents were heterozygous with the blonde hair allele, which is recessive. When there are two parents that are heterozygous, there is a 25% chance their offspring will get two of the recessive alleles. A punnett square can be useful when determining the different phenotypes and genotypes possible in offspring

In birds black feathers are dominant over brown feathers Two birds with black feathers were crossed They had an offspring with brown feathers How is this possible?

Both parents were heterozygous (Bb). The offspring would statistically be: BB, Bb, Bb, and bb. All but the bb offspring would be black and the bb would be brown.

If a child has blonde hair and both the parents have brown hair what does that tell you about the allele for blonde hair?

It tells you that even though the parents have brown hair, they have a recessive allele for blonde hair also. And even though brown is suppose to be visually dominant, it is not the case at all. Two brown heads can make a blonde or brown, and of course even red haired child. Another way to look at it may be the parents have the following alleles for hair color: (b,b) - (b,b) in which case the dominant allele is Blonde or Brown.

What would be the observable color of the offspring if both chromosomes coming from the parents has brown hair color?

Blue-eyed blonde mates with brown-eyed brunette?

It would depend on the brunette's genotype. If they are heterozygous for that trait, then the offspring could be any combination of blonde hair, brown hair, blue eyes, or brown eyes. If the brunette is homozygous dominant, then it's 100% sure the offspring will have a phenotype the same as the brunette.

Brown eyes are dominant Cross a homozygous brown with a recessive blue What color eyes will the offspring have?

all brown the chances of brown eyes both parents have to have blueeyes for blue eyes to become dominant but its still possible no matter what for blue or brown

Could two blue-eyed parents have a brown-eyed child?

GeneticsYes, it's possible for a pair of blue-eyed parents to have a brown-eyed offspring. It all depends on each parent's genotype, and which trait comes from the dominant or recessive allele.

What if the parents have brown eyes and the offspring has green or hazel?

Then the parents carried the gene for green eyes as a recessive gene.
