Yes it is possible. The computer will learn from heavy pulling, long uphills, altitude, larger tires, etc.. When you had been towing, it was trying to learn for the best pulling power. Now that you are not towing, it has finaly figured it out and relearned what to do. This should have happened alot sooner tho. But at least it has happened. I hope this helped you out....
