no you can not but if you finish he all the side missions and then get the achivement once all them are done then you can finish the lesson.

You will have to wait for 4 of them because of DLC content coming out for the game, you can get another by completing the achievement first blood in the original. Another for completing Jack of all trades achievement. These are mostly all easy and cant wait for the DLC to come out.
