Is it possible to create a letter in the alphabet?

I understand that Benjamin Franklin attempted to introduce a phonetic alphabet in 1779. It is so easy to simply take it for granted as a trivial task for elementary students. Most would agree that up to now the spoken language precedes the development of any symbolic representations of it, and changes to spoken language are the same. If there is no actual need driven by spoken language, you can try to modify the alphabet all you want and your efforts will likely be futile. However, with the Information Age well underway, the process of language change and its symbolic representation may be fundamentally different. Needs dictated by rapid exchange of "written" language may take over as the driver of changes in the symbolic representation of the spoken word.

The chances are slim to none. Reason why? Because only a child who has just began learning to talk would be able too. Because anyone over the age would just be using a combination of sounds form the sounds of letters in your most domanit alphabet. Also a toddler would not be able too because their brains would still be developing and growing into their full potential.
