Yes it is possible, I've done it in 55 and 57 seconds without any special preparation just to check. It is, however, difficult and many people are apparently unable to do it from what I have read. Some teachers claim to have done this in class and found that somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 to 2 eighth graders in a hundred are able to do it.
