Is it possible to gain weight in your belly as early as two weeks into a pregnancy I'm not sure if I am but I've been having symptoms had a period but I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago?

One of the first physical changes in your body due to pregnancy is bowel distention. Your bowel slows so that it can get all the nutrients from the food you eat. At two weeks after conception (known as 4 weeks pregnant) you will not be "showing" but it is possible that your bowel has distended and your belly now sticks out. From 4 weeks pregnant I was unable to have anything tight around my stomach or sleep on my front due to bowel distention. It's almost entirely unlikely you'd notice a change in your abdomen after two weeks. Using protection guards against unwanted pregnancy as well as sexually transmitted diseases, which are far more common that pregnancy.

∙ 17y agoHello - If you had your period AFTER you had sex, then you are not pregnant hun. A woman will not gain weight around her abdomonen due to pregnancy until she is 2 months plus. But a pregnant Woman can gain water weight in her abdomomen or a bloated tummy which is a sign of pregnancy.
