It's definitely possible to get pregnant after taking birth control, it may just take you body a little awhile to get back into natural ovulation on its own. Some women find that they get their period right away after getting off the pill, and therefore have a probability of ovulating sooner and getting pregnant quite quickly, while others find it takes a couple months. It's usually recommended to wait a couple months when trying to get pregnant after getting off the pill, that way your body's ovulation schedule is easier to chart. But on the other side there's been no medical problems shown with getting pregnant right away after taking the pill either.
